Make and use things with less waste, pollution and pressure on natural resources.
The things we buy use materials, water and energy before they reach us, and create waste afterwards. This goal asks governments, businesses and households to use resources more efficiently, prevent pollution, cut food waste and make information about products easier to understand.
A canteen that plans portions and safely reuses surplus food can reduce waste before it reaches the bin.
