Privacy notice · privacy-2026-11-01
A plain-language record of what this website collects through its public forms, why it is needed and who may access it.
Membership applications collect the applicant’s name, email address, optional telephone number, TIPM programme, optional year of study, selected interests and reason for joining. Contact enquiries collect a name, email address, optional organisation, subject and message. Security and rate-limiting systems process a verification token and a one-way hash derived from the request address.
Application information is used to assess and respond to membership requests. Enquiry information is used to understand and answer the message. Rate-limit records are used only to protect the forms from abuse.
Only authorised chapter administrators and submission reviewers can read form submissions. Editors and members of the public cannot list or retrieve them.
Each new submission is assigned a deletion-review date 1 days after it is received. An administrator must then delete it unless an approved operational or legal reason requires a documented extension. Short-lived rate-limit records are removed after 24 hours.
You may ask the chapter to correct your information, withdraw a membership application or delete a submission that is no longer needed. Use the official contact channel and provide enough information for the chapter to identify the relevant submission safely.
