Sustainable Development Goal 4 of 17
Learning should be open to everyone and equip people for life and work.

Education should be available to everyone and lead to real learning, not just school attendance. This goal covers early childhood, primary and secondary education, useful skills for work, literacy and opportunities to keep learning as an adult. It also asks whether schools are safe and welcoming to every learner.
A student with a disability should be able to enter the classroom, use learning materials and participate fully.
These are areas of action within the goal, not a complete list of its UN targets.
Safe, inclusive learning spaces for all children
Literacy and useful skills, not attendance alone
Opportunities to continue learning as an adult
Useful education and training can open the door to decent work.
